That moment when your dog acts out and you have no choice but to blame yourself for being too busy to see to his exercise and affection needs.
I've read dog trainers who say, "When a dog misbehaves, roll up a newspaper, smack yourself in the head and say 'Bad Owner'". I couldn't agree more.
I've been very busy with work lately, and I've been thinking 'the poor dog needs more of my time' but I rationalized it with, "He'll get me all to himself on the weekend." But unfortunately that doesn't really help a dog with pent up energy at the time. That energy still needs to be released, and will be released eventually.
So although I'm upset, this one's on me. "Bad Owner!"
