(DA) If you want to be a writer

Write a lot.

Then, when you think you've written a lot, write more.

And more.

And more.


I never thought I fit into the category of "writes a lot", but I recently found an old stash of writing; old stories, plot ideas, descriptive passages and character descriptions. It was amazing (and adorable) to read my adolescent ideas. And although all this writing doesn't actually mean that I write A LOT, it does help me see that I've been writing a long time. I've been creating and building worlds since I was little, and that helps me put all my hard work into perspective.

Just keep writing.
